And the role of HR&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I was very glad for the invitation and excited for the topic.<br \/>\nIt seemed very suitable and a real hot topic to me, because it was:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-2 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-flex-column\" style=\"--awb-padding-right:4%;--awb-padding-left:4%;--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-width-large:100%;--awb-margin-top-large:0px;--awb-spacing-right-large:1.92%;--awb-margin-bottom-large:20px;--awb-spacing-left-large:2.56%;--awb-width-medium:100%;--awb-order-medium:0;--awb-spacing-right-medium:1.92%;--awb-spacing-left-medium:1.92%;--awb-width-small:100%;--awb-order-small:0;--awb-spacing-right-small:1.92%;--awb-spacing-left-small:1.92%;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-column-has-shadow fusion-flex-justify-content-flex-start fusion-content-layout-column\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">An invitation to re-consider <strong>ORGANIZATION<\/strong> as a <em><strong>KEY area<\/strong><\/em> of Competence and Responsibility for the HR function.<br \/>\nIf HR really wants to get out of that hiding place in the Back Office, with its transactional activities for functional support to management (very important, but just administrative), must be placed squarely into the discussion about Business and Organization.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">An invitation to <strong>CONTEXTUALIZE<\/strong>.<br \/>\nToday more than ever, <strong><em>one organizational form-fits-all-context does not exist anymore<\/em><\/strong>. But, we have to be aware that, by doing this, if on one hand it makes us more effective and more impactful, yet on the other it raises the complexity of management more and more.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">An invitation to consider the <strong>MULTI-Country management model, as opposed to the International, Global or Multinational<\/strong> one.<br \/>\nAnd this pushes us to rescue the concept of <em><strong>GLOCALIZATION<\/strong><\/em>, developed in the 80s by Japanese multinational companies and applied initially, and only, to marketing and commercial strategies. But it also leads us to rescue the theory of <em><strong>TRANSNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS<\/strong><\/em>, in contrast to the Multinational, Global or International Organizational models. Know them, empathize with them, in short, HUMANIZING.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">HOW the Companies have behaved, or how they have reacted to the crisis has brought to light HOW they REALLY ARE. Has defined them in their <strong>PURPOSE<\/strong> of being. And this is impacting on if and how they could be considered as an<em>Employer of Choice<\/em> or as entities in which to invest.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The New Business Models are driving us to re-think the <strong>ORGANIZATION<\/strong>of work, not only in its soft skills &#8211; behaviors, methods and cultures &#8211; but also in its hard competences &#8211; Organization, Structure, Processes, Roles and Responsibilities -.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:10px;width:100%;\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column summarize its <strong>mission<\/strong> in the following way:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>Contribute to the deployment of the Company Purpose providing it with the most appropriate <\/em>Organizational Capabilities <em>to activate its Business Model, in each Context.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Between all the Competencies required for the PCO Area, here, I would briefly highlight 3 of them, and go deeper into one.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-12 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-flex-column\"
